When damian took in mar’i as his robin he thought that things were going to be different, that unlike his father his robin would obey him more and that he can totally handle his niece

As damian struggles, old man bruce just sips his tea and is like ‘you think I didn’t try to achieve that?”

Mar’i is really excited for going on her first supervillain mission and uncle damian promised he’d let her actually help and not just lead civilians and damian is starting to understand his father a bit better

I love the idea of damian being batman and mar’i being his robin since it’d be like repeating the cycle and its cute alright

I wanted to practice facial expressions and thought the bat boys should be my subject

Damian is either shocked or disgusted or horrified at what ever he is seeing

Jason is relaxed and smiling which means he probably caught one of the bat fam acting like an idiot and is ready to roast them

Dick is very uncomfortable and wishes to go home and eat his feelings through cereal

Tim is pissed at someone and that is not going to end well for said person

anyway if I ran dc this would be what they’d mostly look like

in order

  • boy robins– dick grayson, Jason Todd, Tim drake, damian wayne
  • batgirls- Barbara Gordon, Cassandra Cain, Stephanie brown, Nell little
  • part of the family but not really sidekicks- harper row, duke Thomas, Cullen row, Maya ducard

anyway I only really choose these guys cause I wanted to do both younger and my favorite characters which is why nell is there since she’s doing well in the bombshells verse and I wished she was the newer batgirl and Cullen is part of the fam through harper so there

Maya is here because its canon that she and damian see each other as siblings
