@artistefish wrot in her fic that kagome figured out real quick that situation between rinne and sakura and I really want to see her confront them about this

as if kagome ‘matchmaker’ higurashi will not try to help them progress their relationship the moment she gets a breather from all the serious stuff

And here rinne was thinking he was doing a good job keeping things under wraps, but kagome never misses these things

@lenbarboza has a very cute series called dog and bunny and I was feeling very inspired which was what I needed since I was in a block for a while so thanks for unintentionally kicking me out of my art block!

so yeah I basically got inspired to think of rumic world couples being in this world which means this isn’t canon to len’s au so this was just my own dumb little idea so theres that

who’s who?

  • quail!lum was heavily inspired by brazillian carnival dancers costumes cause ya know feathers. I went with a bird cause lum’s got to fly, meanwhile Ataru unintentionally became the most dresses of the boys which makes me laugh
  • fox!ranma had to wear crop tops cause I feel like id he turned to a girl it would look good. His ears and tail turn more red in color when he switches to girl type ranma. When I was looking up Japanese animals to see who should be who, because of course I take a simple thing and make it more difficult, akane being a squirrel just kind of clicked in my head and idk why, watch out she may be small but her tail can be club like if you make her mad. Squirrel!akane may be more covered at the front but the back is much more exposed, something fox!ranma ain’t happy about
  • serow in japan is like this weird goat/antelope animal and I was like, ‘oh that’s cool why not’ looking back maybe a stag could have worked with rinne. Oh well im attached to serow!rinne. Deer!sakura’s lingerie is more or less this like I saw it and I was like ‘yup that’s something sakura would wear’ like if she ever wants to make rinne lose it its either this or one that’s like a sexier version of those cute dresses rinne fantasizes about. No matter the au, all rinne’s try to be gentlemen and offering you jacket so your not-girlfriend could cover up if she wants to.Rinne is usually shirtless with his jacket covering him but this is a good time to give that up.

I might do something for yutmana and maonoka but we’ll see

Welp @danaty-consolation made her own rumic world kids and that pretty much inspired me here so here’s my own idea of what kids the rumic gang would have

So I guess heres the next gen of the rumic gang?

  • Kazuma higurashi: The oldest of the group and the gaggle of kids inukag has. He’s the most human looking of the kids, only really getting the enhanced senses and strength from Inuyasha. He’s very much the opposite of his dad as he is really nice and friendly. While for sure he’s pretty strong, his real strength comes with how he’s basically a doctor and knows how injuries and medicine works.
  • Denki morobishi: The technical genius of the group. Ataru and lum’s oldest, they have a younger daughter named emi, he is surprisingly not as girl craze as his dad when he was his age. When this fact was discovered, shinobu won a lot of money from a betting pool. This means that the most trouble he causes is through inventions and now Ataru has to constantly fight with a lazer shooting toaster every morning. Sometimes denki’s inventions are good other times….no. He can fly and shoot out electricity also I made a mistake on his horns they are supposed to be curved whoops.
  • Kaori Saotome: The fighter of the group, kaori is the olderst of ranma and akane’s two kids, they have son who’s only two years younger. She has mastered  a lot of the martial arts and is really showing a talent for being a martial artist. The only problem is how she really wishes to be more girly and thus tries to hide how much of a powerhouse she really is. No one knows how she inherited ranma’s girl side’s hair but there it is.
  • Tomoe rokudo: The youngest of the group as well as their semi leader, she is the most mature and responsible of them. She works as a shinigami and works hard to make sure she never ends up in debt like her dad did when he was her age and tries not to want to spend on stuff. Its a little bit of a shame since she is daddy’s  little girl and he really wouldn’t mind spoiling her. She is definitely rinne’s pride and joy. She acts a lot like her dad but is pretty blind to any one who likes her like sakura. She is an only kid

So yeah the kids, Kazuma is the tallest while tomoe it the shortest.

I really like what I did because they all look how I wanted them to look, especially tomoe

I do have people they each end up with but hey if someone wants to ship them with each other go ahead!

The girls are trying to send a funny picture to someone with mana coming in last minute going ‘what are you guys even doing?’ and click! photo was taken.

The boys received the picture and decided to respond accordingly

-Ataru and rinne being able to replicate lum and sakura’s poses pretty well.

-Ranma not completely following through with how akane looks cause he’s a rebel and the peace sign will always be in a photo he’s involved in.

-Inuyasha being a grump and complaining about how this is stupid but is participating anyway cause the boys wouldn’t stop bothering him, but he refuses to smile for this

-Yuta probably pointing out how they are barely fitting in the cameras view and making sure he doesn’t get poked in the eye

Its due to these late night talks and sleeping together (not like that) they ended up being the type of couple that falls asleep cuddling and aren’t about to sleep a lot without having some sort of contact.

the first pic is of the first couple of times these accidently cuddles happen and Rinne is mentally screaming and debating whether or not to move cause she’s sleeping and he doesn’t want to wake her and its actually nice askdjfhkjashfhal!!!

rinsaku week day 5 rain

Of course the day both forget an umbrella it starts pouring, luckily the haori of the underworld has the other ability to cover the rain

While sakura marvels at the multi-ability haori rinne is slightly flustered at the proximity between him and his crush sakura

I’m actually fairly proud of myself with how it turned out

alright folks this is the last of the rinsaku week art because I ran out of time and couldn’t continue at the time but who knows I might come back to it

rinsaku week day 4 gifts

they love the little things that the other got them from the scarf to a kinda ugly stuff dolphin

I will never be over how in the anime sakura cuddled with dolphin after she said she didn’t want it that much, thanks anime you saved my life

I think rinne really loved the scarf cause it was made by sakura and its personalized and ugh sweet things

this is day 4 because I couldn’t figure out day 3 in time

rinsaku week day 2 jealously 

where rinne and sakura were having a nice afternoon together till tsubasa and ageha caught wind and decided just no

while I like how rinne and sakura turned out, ageha looks meh and tsubasa has the neck of a chicken so I guess 50% good will do

one of my favorite things about rinsaku jealously is that it is a simmering one, where with the other rumic couple its loud and obvious, these two show it only through their expressions and remarks

Sakura gives it off without even noticing and makes small comments that always throw rinne through a loop with her readily accepting that rinne is closer to other people than he is with her (utter lies)

Rinne shows it through his expressions and quite thoughts to himself and basically mopes about how he probably is a burden to sakura and their relationship is just classmates (more lies)

point is who is lying to my kids
