Look since we all agree that lum and Inuyasha has a more sibling like relationship then we should add to it like teasing. You can’t be siblings if you don’t make fun of each others crushes

yes this is before she made a bad deal with sabato and before Inuyasha got some human legs
while Inuyasha has not met kagome officially, she is well known around the supernatural world and he may or may not have checked on her from afar
btw Inuyasha’s tail is of a great white shark, except ya know red and the thing wrapped around his waist is a dagger from his dad
there is a story on why Inuyasha is her bodyguard as well as his own story

And heres a rumic world au story that I have been dying to write about, a rumic world/ the little mermaid au!
although I guess this would have to be called the littlest oni instead
Princess lum is the daughter of king invader under the sea where all sorts of monsters live in with her baby cousin jariten, as flounder, and bodyguard Inuyasha, who is taking the place of Sebastian. As much as she had everything a girl could want, she wanted the one thing she was forbidin from, the surface world. One day however she stumbled upon a princes birthday on a boat, and instead of falling for the prince, who is mendou and was too busy admiring his statue and being a major tool, she fell for one of the sailor men working hard to keep the boat moving and keeping a certain fox kit from being spotted, Ataru Moroboshi. A terrible storm comes through however that destroys the boat and would have killed him if she hadn’t swam in to save him. She gets him to shore and quickly swims away, not noticing that he may have caught a glimpse of his savior. She falls for him so hard that she makes a deal with one of the most dangers people in the sea, sabato rokudo and his two hench women renge and ran cause we all gotta pay the bills somehow. So yes lum gets to be a human but with a catch that she has 3 weeks to make him fall in love with her or lose her soul to sabato. So know she’s on a time crunch to make her darling fall in love with a girl who doesn’t have a voice, while Ataru who is still realing from his near death and mystery girl who saved him has to help this poor mute girl around while also keeping her away from mendou in the process.
ranma and akane are also there as Ataru’s friends/grimsbly who also helps him with things. They both play a part into Mendou’s kingdom but they ain’t friends
Inuyasha gets his own story as well and gets legs while working with the local priestess to keep an eye on lum as well trying to make sure lum keeps her deal and try to fix another part of the deal that she didn’t know about
rinne and sakura would also play a part here
might even include other rumic characters who knows
if ya can’t tell lum’s mermaid part is an eel so theres that. I’ll probably end up drawing the other fish folk soon so look out for that

I think it was establish that Yuta and mana are like the life guards for the town, and I love that but I also like to think on occasion he gets put in charge of the town since he’s oldest and stuff
These residents however make him feel his age and god Inuyasha give up on the idea already, its not even a good name
Now im not saying Inuyasha is the most dramatic boy, that award goes to ranma on being number 1 drama queen, but he is the most likely to blow things out of proportion, so trying to get a majority vote on a name he picked out is definitely in his mo
Don’t worry ya’ll kosaku( from one pound gospel) isn’t trying to steal mana, they’re food buddies who love it when town meetings go off the rails cause then no one notices them eating during them

Rinne was a serious no-nonsense guy, Ataru is a happy smiley pervert
Rinne has been a perfect gentlemen to sakura while mao, well you know… *gestures to the beginning chapters of mao*

Nabiki can find a sucker to leech off their money in a 30 mile radius while rinne gets a cold chill when he feels like a person is after his money
so of course they clash here
Next scen she’s gonna manipulate the situation so that sakura thinks he likes nabiki and she won’t stop till he pays her
Out of all his enemies, nabiki tendo just might be his more frightening opponents

yes there is the mermaid road trip au that’s come up and while I do keep up with it, im not sure I would make any content for it because ITS SO SAD OMG.
I personally like to think of it as a pta au OR like a mad max: fury road, I even have ideas on the latter!

Inuyasha always though that the way he would die would be from a battle, maybe its the one between him and naraku and he manages to defeat him before dying from his injuries, there would be fire and it would be dark. Maybe theres lighting in the background
never did he think it would be from a heart attack cause kagome, the love of his life who has no idea of this btw, wanted to cuddle.
Its a confusing time for dog boy. His dog instincts are screaming at him that this means something, but like they’re clearly wrong right?

jusenkyo bath salts is an amzing story that @artistefish has and I love it because the second chapter ended with a note at the bottom of nerima wreking crew maybe hearing about another way for a cure, I can see them being like ‘I feel a disturbance in the force, and ugh that brings in so many good ideas
like I can imagine both sides trying to hide their secrets cause normal people don’t usually react well to gender changing people, half dog demons, or people who are partially cats, and like the ways they try to pull it off and the misunderstandings that would happen, its hilarious
Ranma is gonna be terrified of kagome once he knows she’s cursed and Inuyasha is gonna wanna punch him in his face cause how dare he look at kagome like that!
only to learn later ranma is just scared of cats as he watches one of the greatest martial artist, cry and hide behind his tiny fiancée when buyo happens to walk on by.
ANYWAY I think way too much on this story im sorry friend
Kazuma higurashi: The oldest of the group and the gaggle of kids inukag has. He’s the most human looking of the kids, only really getting the enhanced senses and strength from Inuyasha. He’s very much the opposite of his dad as he is really nice and friendly. While for sure he’s pretty strong, his real strength comes with how he’s basically a doctor and knows how injuries and medicine works.
Denki morobishi: The technical genius of the group. Ataru and lum’s oldest, they have a younger daughter named emi, he is surprisingly not as girl craze as his dad when he was his age. When this fact was discovered, shinobu won a lot of money from a betting pool. This means that the most trouble he causes is through inventions and now Ataru has to constantly fight with a lazer shooting toaster every morning. Sometimes denki’s inventions are good other times….no. He can fly and shoot out electricity also I made a mistake on his horns they are supposed to be curved whoops.
Kaori Saotome: The fighter of the group, kaori is the olderst of ranma and akane’s two kids, they have son who’s only two years younger. She has mastered a lot of the martial arts and is really showing a talent for being a martial artist. The only problem is how she really wishes to be more girly and thus tries to hide how much of a powerhouse she really is. No one knows how she inherited ranma’s girl side’s hair but there it is.
Tomoe rokudo: The youngest of the group as well as their semi leader, she is the most mature and responsible of them. She works as a shinigami and works hard to make sure she never ends up in debt like her dad did when he was her age and tries not to want to spend on stuff. Its a little bit of a shame since she is daddy’s little girl and he really wouldn’t mind spoiling her. She is definitely rinne’s pride and joy. She acts a lot like her dad but is pretty blind to any one who likes her like sakura. She is an only kid
So yeah the kids, Kazuma is the tallest while tomoe it the shortest.
I really like what I did because they all look how I wanted them to look, especially tomoe
I do have people they each end up with but hey if someone wants to ship them with each other go ahead!
Whats not seen in the background is Inuyasha trying to yeet happy into the stratosphere.
I’m like 99% sure that rinne will end up going off on sabato after learning he’s working with happy to break the barrier, a barrier mind you that’s supposed to seal a huge danger, in @artistefish ‘s fic but like the recent chapter has me so worried ya’ll!!!!
I have the headcanon that happy has like the Guianese world record for the most warrents, and wanted posters a ghoul like him has. Whether its because happy has far longer than intended or even the Shinigami were like ‘alright lets bag this old turd’ so currently happy has a kinda of free pass for all the Shinigami to like bag his soul.
And that’s what rinne is talking about here, because of course happy is the big exception to the major thing that all Shinigami are against.
Rinne probably lost his jacket somehow and its totally not because I couldn’t draw the jacket.

Team blue eyes!!!
Last time I time I did team violet eyes but this time I decided to do the rumic people with blues eyes!
I did lighten up ranma’s eyes a bit and decided that kagome now had a mix of brown and blue eyes thanks to this pic
(I’ve always been torn between the brown eyes from the anime and the blue grey from the manga so the fanart really settled the matter for me)
